Costa Rica&#8217;s Caribbean Coast is lined with beaches of dazzling beauty, offering luxurious resorts set back for complete privacy, some of which are accessible within two hours of San Jos\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy the 570 hectares (1,400 acres) of rock reefs teeming with colorful fish and travel through the jungle via a 130 km (80 miles) canal system. Access to nature is close at hand with its 29 national parks covering an area of \u200b\u200b525,000 hectares (1.3 million acres) or 10.3% of the country.
